I have had such a busy week, with travelling to the UK for work, my Dad's 65th birthday and trying to make the most of the sun.
Today, a package arrived on my desk. I had bought three Lush Lacquer polishes from Etsy (http://www.etsy.com/shop/lushlacquer?ref=seller_info). I decided to go for the three mini bottles for $15 plus postage. EDIT: They have just stopped shipping internationally :( Sorry, I made my order before they stopped it.
Clowning Around, Lost my Marbles, Neon Lights |
I popped the pink on my nails, with the white as the accent nail.
I felt like they needed an extra pop so used Clowning Around which is a topcoat over two coats of each.
Out of all three, I think Clowning Around, which is just heavy glitter suspended in clear polish is the most versatile. You can use it to transform any polish into a neon-y glitter polish.
I can see myself getting a lot of use out of these over the summer, they are just so fun!
What do you think? Do you ever buy indie brands?
x
That clowning around polish is divine! They're all pretty darn good though. Love the names too. The white is exceptionally great too:)
ReplyDeleteThanks, I think I actually prefer the white to the pink too!
DeleteClowning around is such a great idea, I wish more brands would do that! I love that speckled effect that's around, all three are gorgeous but I think the neon on white wins it for me :)x
ReplyDeleteYeah, think I might do all white next time I use them. Would be great on a sunny day! :)
Deletethese are deadly! I never even knew Lush did nail polish! coveting them all now but I am on a nail polish spending ban; the amount I have is actually embarrassing!
ReplyDeleteThey are Lush Lacquer so I think it's a different brand. I found them on etsy. Think it's an indie polish! x
DeleteThese are so cute - perfect for summer!
ReplyDeleteThanks, 'cute' is definitely a great word to describe them! I try to be classy with the rest but like to have fun nails! :)
DeleteThese are amazing! I'm already on my way over to Etsy to throw Clowning ARound in my basket! :)
ReplyDeleteI would love to try these, they look like lots of fun. :D
