Recent Purchases!

Hi Everyone,

While trapped in Gatwick duty free with a two hour delay, I had a little look around duty-free. Of course I blame these purchases on the delay!

The Clinique 'Take the Day Off' is my favourite eyemakeup remover and has been for many years. I wear a lot of mascara and nothing can take it off as well as this.

The Mac powder is another thing I have used for a long time. This shade is 'medium dark' and I always have one to hand.

The lipstick is a new colour for me - 29 Rose Opera. It is a reddy pink, less pink than in the photos. YSL lipsticks are my favourite but not the cheapest so it's a good idea to pick them up in English duty free where prices are a little lower!

In the background is a Ted Baker scarf. Just like in my nail colours, I love nudes and neons together in my clothes. I saw this scarf and couldn't resist. Even my colleagues remarked it was 'so me'. The weather has been so unseasonably warm for December here though so I haven't had much chance to wear it yet!

There is also a ghd in the original photo which was kindly bought for me by my mum after my ghd exploded :( The ghd itself is such a pretty colour and much better than my old one as it's a V version.

Finally, I bought this 'gelous' after seeing a post on twitter about how to 'hack gel nails'. I found it on http://www.sallyexpress.com/ie/. Postage was super expensive and it came in a box big enough to fit a football.

I did also buy a pair of shoes at the weekend, in my favourite leopard print so all in all, it's been a good few days!

What do you think of the purchases?

  1. Great purchases, I love the scarf, it's so unusual and pretty. The lipstick is a beautiful colour, definitely not one I could carry off but will look stunning on you. I'm interested to hear about how you get on with the Gelous! Hope you had a lovely Christmas x
