Hi Everyone,
I bought China Glaze's Flip Flop Fantasy back in March at the beauty show but never got around to using it. It's a classic colour, maybe not classic like a classic red, but it's maybe one of CG's most well known shades.
It's a bright creme peachy neon. I used two coats and it does dry matte like all neons so you need a shiny topcoat. I do love my creamy-neons and this colour is suitably bright! The photos don't do it justice, it's very in your face, especially in direct sunlight.
I decided to try something different so I did two nails in Essie Fiji which is a very pale pink with a great white-like consistency. I then used a long striping brush to stripe my ring finger in Flip Flop Fantasy.
Just to jazz it up further, I used my gold studs I bought from the Born Pretty Store recently, popping one on each nail. I set them using a coat of Jessica's Brilliance.
I really love this look. The striping and studs were pretty easy to do. The light pink adds a little but more subtle-ness to the look too. Of course it's not at all a subtle look overall but I like it! Now that have qualified as an actuary, I can get up and paint my nails rather than get up and study. Life is good!
I hope you guys love it too! I think I will definitely use this colour more often now.
